snowwwww

white.
white.
white.
white.

no, that wasn't a racist thing. it's the colour of the snow that landed in cheltenham these last few days. If you have picked up the papers lately, you'll find that uk's under heavy snowfall, and my place isn't an exception.

the view outside my window. those little black figures you see there, those are DCD students playing around with the snow on the astro turf.
here they are.

the sunrays, a few days before the heavy snowfall. (edited!)

the heavy snowfall.
my view waking up in the morning. say hello to my realm. *hello. wait what?*
the houses from my windows. forgot what;s the name of the hill at the back.

my camera came! and quick as well. it was delivered to my doorstep two days after i ordered it. now i just need to finish up one roll before sending it off to be developed :D

For people who wants to know how i look right now, here's an aid. note that this was after a busy school day.

A few weeks ago, the school had an interhouse hockey tournament. Now, in brunei, when you ay you're in a certain house in school sports, say yellow house like yous truly *aisehmen*, but here if you're in a house, you literally live in a that house, like me in gate house. Not the most inspiring name around, nor is it the prettiest, but it gets the job done :]

some say he swallows hockey sticks for dinner, and that he sleeps while standing. all we know is he's called the ED. guess where that came from haha
goalie.
gate house goalie - 'pinny'
gate house vs tower house in action
briant.
poised. elegant. wrong topic.

DCS students.
gate house + one totally out of place dude. hard to guess which if you don't know the person.
the classrooms overlooking the fields.

ben making a pass.
tactics employed by charlie as a wy to cut down defences.
on the run to the goalpost.
the team players.

the team player plus housemaster on the right.
The school also had chinese new year's festivities on CNY. The menu in the cafeteria was oriental on that day, with the setting reflecting CNY, although i find it still pretty european if you know what i mean. We had two lion dancers performing a little show for the students here.

i now really really hungry. Time to grab a munch. BYE
