17th. as planned a few days earlier, a few of us had a photoshoot at hyde park, as practise for us as i need practice in terms if outdoor sunny photoshoot. armed with my cheap-but-works-well equipments, we (namely me the photographer, erwan, lester, fazleen, izzah, lela, azrin, peng, anne) left B-Hall at 9.

It was a oh so sunny day, so i had more challenges especially with my off-shoe flash. the reliability of chinese-made wireless triggers as i found out may become frustrating after a while, so i had to improvise. i really wanted to get something like those old photos, from the time of manual film cameras, but n0t towards lomo-style. flares are intentional, as nothing's really perfect is it?


while at the fountain, pestering with the 'local' residents. retaliation came very soon.

we gave erwan the original version of this picture, unedited in the form of a poster as his birthday present. i literally ran my way from bayswater through queensway station, got on a tube to marble arch and ran to the shop, all in 15 minutes, in what will usually take 25 minutes.

behind the scenes. had to soften the harsh light coming by passing through white diffuser umbrella, reflecting any that passed by the model with the reflector. results are as below.

it sure was a hectic day, with the photoshhot in the morning, distracting erwan while we get ready with his gift and preparing his suprise that night.

okay it's 11.53pm now. i'm in the dining hall in b-hall with opah negara fb-ing next to me, sambil mengigau edward cullen * oh baru ingat, kami baru liat twilight tadi. thumbs up*
