10 degrees

i've better start eating some of the chocolate stash in my room. it was almost finish the other day, with only 2 cadbury bars, but tempations and gifts grew and i got more. i even got 2 tubs of maltesers haha

people hasn't really seen much of me through the blog, because i'm always the one behind the camera. so to make it all up, this pose involves a window, nighttime, my camera set on manual focus and a handheld flash.

i had nothing to do ( other than physics coursework) that night so i decided to take pictures of the outside houses ( next post for that one) but the first shot got me started on something else. this was it:

i've forgotten to open the windows, so i took my reflection xP then it got me thinking. i've seen tons of 'friendster poses' over the years, heck i could make a whole research about it so i wanted to try something new. here are the results.

i used 40D, 17-85mm on manual focus and focus rarely changed throughout so i had to move it back and forth (for fun 7 focusing) and my flash fitted with a wireless trigger. all pictures have only been lightroomed and resize, no cropping.
why photographers rarely vain themselves haha
i love this shot. trying to get more creative with the angles and post-processing.

trying to make it as if it's a part of an old film, with the end of the photo all messy and aged ( actually the white area is the window sill, i just made it that way haha)

that painting didn't come as standard with my room. i bought it while in london at bayswater from an artist called natalie cannon.
pictures from around here and there, not on the same night though.
