cheltenham, people.

warning : dial-up users will cry.

It's been two weeks now.

first of all, sorry for not being able to update sooner, all this prep a.k.a assignments keep coming in every week, but tonight's my free night, since i did my work in the library td before sungkai *pats on back* haha

Ok, UK.

The weather's waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy colder than brunei's. It's now up to the point where early mornings when its windy are like standing in front of an air-con put on full blast 2 meters away from all directions, and mist forms everytime we exhale. And it's only september. It's gonna get much much much much colder in the coming weeks. *eyes on super-cool overcoat at mark&spencers :P *

And i know a lot may be asking about how puasa is like here. Glad to say that we're lucky here, since the chefs ( yes, there's more than one. I've known probably 4 since i got here) are well-experienced in providing halal dishes that we have savour these past 2 weeks such as (lemme list down):
Half-chicken
Noodles + oriental veggies
Chocolate Cheesecake
Mashed potatoes
Stuffed Aubergine
Salmon fishcakes
Salmon fillets
Dorry Fillets
Chips
Nasi biriyani ( yes, they did gave us the other day)
Veggie Burger
and lots more. just listed down these iff the tp of my head.

The house i'm in right now, Gate House seems daunting at first, but now it's my home far away from home. My house has students from different parts of the world, from hong kong, japan, korea, kenya, mainland china other than hong kong and of course, the locals. I've known the names of probably everyone on my floor, and the tv room sure is a good place to take a break between and after classes. futurama everyday haha

Here in dean, i'm doing activities almost everyday here :
monday - classic films ( photography next term )
Tuesday - Badminton training with ms.webb
Wednesday - Community Action with the elderly
Thursday - Badminton with mr.pellereau
Friday - Probably fitness suite after puasa
Saturday - Badminton again
Sunday - Pool/snooker at our houses

The pool/snooker part is saja2 .. since there's pool tables in all 3 of our houses ( me and lester in Gate, Sul in Tower and Khai in Brook's Court)

So you can see how active we are here :P Badminton is surely the most anticipated activity everytime ( after studies though :D )

So here's a few pictures for your viewing pleasure.

finally in uk after an 18 hours flight, stopping over at dubai. oh the butt cramps
the folders given on our first day of classes.
