here's my take on the SSD upgrade on the high-spec model, non-existent in the other one:
Doesn't actually improve much from the standard HDD, except reducing, and by a lot, the slowdowns that we normally face from running firefox, basically high i/o programs. In short, SSD is less likely to cause the computer to lagg. doesn't seem to worth the $2k difference.
