SMSS, that's St. Margaret's School Seria to those who don't know

December's holidays tend to be the longest of the year, so true expecially for exam classes, which in my case, applies.

People always look forward to holidays more than they should, and the normal case is that they bored themselves half-way through. I, on the other hand, try to avoid that situation.

so my holidays more than a month. That's more than a month of free time. Since i'm not even sure which school i'm going to next year, i'm not even preparing a lot for it. I've set one aim for holidays: ENJOY YOURSELF :D

sure, the stay at empire, rizqun, going to miri twice in 3 days, and the shopping in and out does help, expecially the snorkelling and kayaking at empire, which was a hell lot of fun, and tan xP

It'll be a while k before results come out for o's, so the anxiety level still rising. And i'm not alone there. But somehow, everyone's just ignoring it, which is a good thing to be when having your holidays. You don't want to think of something that you can't even change anymore, which is the results. it's in the past now, and all you wait is the result.

This holidays, i've been going to other ppl's houses more often than usual, like vincent's, where swimming is mandatory lol x), and also going out more than i should be, and later through the night :)

It's during those times i'm with people a.k.a friends that i've been friends with for quite a while, some even close to a decade or so. I've spent my primary and secondary school years with them, and although i've lost a few, i still try to maintain all of them.

What makes it different this time is that after this holiday, i won't be in SMSS anymore, and that's new for me, as it's always been like that for the last 12 years or so. Honestly saying, i rather stay at SMSS and continue study a-level (if there was any in the school) than being in another school. Point to the matter is that SMSS had that sort-of 'home-y' feeling, that's hard to find in other schools.

Here, everyone sees everyone, whether they know them or not, so we interact there
. some schools, they have these huge buildings over a very large area, which is to the contrary to SMSS. sure, a bigger area can help accomodate more students, but SMSS is fine in terms of student number. Those big buildings mean more walls, and further distances to cover. I know, for example in Maktab Sains, the buildings are all new and is the envy of students alike, but i still think that SMSS, especially with the atmosphere you have in the classes, aided by these large windows, bringing in natural light into the room, it truly sets a sort of comfortable setting to learn. I've been to the Maktab Sains for a Science Olympiad, and all i can say is that the cafeteria remains a favourite, surely due to the fact that i was hungry.

Some may not agree with my stand on SMSS, but they probably will when they see other schools, possibly. The classes here don't feel cramped in any way, it always gives an impression that everyone has a place of their own in the class, and they have equal attention from teachers and others alike.

SMSS isn't perfect though, as the canteen still lacks the capacity to hold a large number of students at any one time. It'll be probably till the new building's done, then they can have a decent canteen. I still remembered the old one, with benches and chairs all laid out for use, and usually we know who's gonna take which table and benches[if only i had those pictures right now]. For example, at one time, the upper secondary will take the table closest to the gate, and the lower secondary next to that. The third table will be for the Nepalese students, and fourth will be the parents waiting there. Everyone knew the procedure, and it was sort of stereotype to see these different 'cliques' (not sure of the spelling) on different tables. But in a way, it helped marked who's with who.

I just wrote a heck long composition about SMSS. My english teacher's gonna be proud of that x]
