Went to kaizen sushi today at seria. It was supposed to be dinner, but i guessed lunch was more feasible.
Went there, and i was the first. no big wohoo there. Good thing zul came a minute later, or i would had no one to wait in the tatami room [i think that's what they called the private rooms as. Correct me if i'm wrong]
Went up, the four of us, including nigel and russell, checked the reservation and got in the room. First impressions were good, although the thought of sitting down bersila came up for a sec there when i saw the table were so low to the floor. Luckily there's a big hole in the floor for our feets.
First of all, the menu, if there wasn't any description, or had good pictures, we wouldn't have any idea what we were ordering.
The menu was okay, it's hard to say it's very good as i don't go to sushi places frequently. Hope that changes.
Too bad the drinks menu wasn't finalised yet, so the variety of drinks were limited. So we ordered ice lemon tea instead, which was good, basically.
So i looked through the pages, all with mouth-watering images of what could be in our mouths in a matter of minutes. aaaaaa....
Since some of them wasn't there yet, we just ordered some sushi, maki and sashimi as appetizers, and as soon as the food came, didn't take long to clear it. i had naguro or was it maguro maki, which basically was raw salmon, wrapped in rice and a seaweed outside. With the soy sauce, it tasted like i was eating ice-cream on a hot sunny day, refreshing.
For the main course, i had tori teppanyaki, which i think was sliced chicken bits, with a sauce and a side-serving of veggies. Sure was mouth-watering slurppp

fyi, here's the opening hours:
- 11.00 to 2.30 pm
- It'll open again at 5.30 pm till 10.30 pm.
Final word on kaizen sushi:
