13th jan. I think that's when the cbox mayhem started. No, not in my Cbox, in ranoadidas's Cbox. It just became the second HYS of brunei, with the topic "prom" being the unfortunate starter.

First of all, i'm fine with the prom, as long as they know their boundaries, then it's fine. i've been to a few proms, but this isn't about me.

SO when i was reading the coverage on MD's recent prom, i thought it must had been one hell of a prom to get rano and anakbrunei coming there, surely the empire venue helped :P

Looking at the photos, they all seemed fine to me, with the dresses and some were even glamorous, hot with pretty colours that a photographer would be dying to take a picture of [like yours truly]. Then, the cbox blew up, with comments saying how could there be a prom in brunei? or pointing out how 'sexy' the dresses looked and lots more complaints.

In my honest opinions, i've seen much more sexier outfits roaming around at gadong, and the dresses they wore made them the kings and queens of the night. It's not like they do it everyday, it can be a once in a lifetime experience for some.

Prom, or gala nights in Brunei, for obvious reasons, can be carried out, but make sure they're within boundaries. If you see deeper, these proms are basically the same with any party you'll have, in the concept they carry: that is enjoying yourself

Usually, it's kinda rare to see people in a prom here in Brunei getting too carried away, for all i know that is.
