the time has come. *dramatic music*

the arrival of one of sigma's 'Bigma' , the Sigma 150-500mm f5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM ( not mine, just ordered it on behalf). Thanks to bristolcameras for the quick process, literally took around 24 hours from clicking 'order' until having the item delivered to my house. wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cheaper dude.

*now waiting for my new OTW *cough*LV*cough*-ish bag :D*

it's a biggie filter.

it's like a tower from down here. weights like one as well.
from left to right : sigma 150-500mm, my tamron 70-200mm, trusty canon 50mm and lomo action sampler for size comparison.
too late to be patriotic?

RocSoc '09 - the show where students show their musical prowess in an assortment of ways ( bands seems to be the most obvious one) held at dean close school, and this time i have a chance to see it. Not only was it to see what the students where capable of, it was also an DofE assignment, as part of completing the award scheme. didn't bring much, just a 40D, 70-200mm and a monopod since it's pretty dark except the stage.

getting ready for the next song.

performed 'I'm yours - Jason Mraz'

that was the end of the night. the 70-200mm tammy performed well, focused accurately, didn't hunt a lot in low light.
